The research and development project “Reliable femtosecond lasers for industrial microprocessing, science and medicine” is being realized in Fluence sp. z o.o. thanks to financial aid received from European Funds under Action 1.1: “R & D projects of enterprises”, Sub-action 1.1.1: "Industrial research and development work carried out by enterprises", Smart Growth Operational Program 2014-2020 co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund, POIR no. 01.01.01-00-0590/16-00.

The Project is devoted to developing the missing elements of the technology and introducing them as ready-to-sell products. A modular design of an over 100 W femtosecond laser, based largely on fibre technology, is the main goal of the Project. Preliminary laboratory studies on a new type of fiber oscillator had shown its exceptional resilience against vibrations and temperature change. Transferring this technology to a larger design with much higher output parameters will give the Fluence company a significant technological advantage over current market leaders in femtosecond laser manufacturing.
